Finally got my nameplate .. thnkx to IT dept
Also worked on Sun SOLARIS ...
Woked wid registry and its updations

Ohh .. today was cool day ... I was much relax @ EOD.
Had a presentation it was good
I have written a glbal files for updations scripts as inputs...
Nice day ... specially today food was superb.
Have seen VEA and some VM concepts from sid

so now i have added my code to the real time server and tested i..

Busy day ... done lots of things in PERL and read about VCS ...
Coz i also have to give a presentation on next tues !!

Hey today i have done VCW automation .. i have added some scripts to existing frameworks
Had a conference call with our US team
went to college for project exibition n all

and ... had accident !!!!!!!!!!

VCW automation .. i have done it ... have started doing stuff in AUTOit tool ...
Its one of the gr8 tool i have ever seen ... Then we had a meeting and we found out some tasks to be done and then i prioritized that task according to the discussion we had in a meeting ..

Today i have done the search utility in PERL successfully and i made it generalized. Anand is happy wid that .. I have started reading about AUTOIT the amazing tool for GUI Automation things. I have created the WINZIP installer .. cool feeling. Then i also configured a file share group in the cluster i created.

Thnkx to symantec i can play POOL properly .... Sidharth la harwale aaj ... yooo

ya .. today 1st i read about bundle agents ... Then went for VERITAS CLUSTER SERVER admin guide. Then finally vivek gave m two servers to me .. ohh ya vivek is our admin.... then i installed SFW HA 5.0 on those two machines with lots of settings .... After installing tht i created a new cluster wid 2 node .CLAPS.... Went to anand for futher system group conf n all .. but he gave me some task in PERL ... and then started doing tht thing ..

YA one more thing today was our traditional day in symantec ... and also a kite flying day .. so overall we njoyed alot ( I neither was in traditional day no went for kite flying... ) i know i am so bored guy bt cant help .. had loads of work

Was very happy while gng home tht day coz nex two days are SAT-SUN ... hah !!!

Ohh today i saw our data center ... it is really awesome ... lots of servers machines , arrays , storage devices and very cold AC ... I got two servers for VCS installation and cluster configuration.

Hey and one more thing i helped my neighbor ( not in my grp ) in writing plsql scripts.
That was interesting for m always. In the evening i was idle coz servers were not available.

Sad thing na ... I have gone thru all the administration guides of VCS and bundle agents.
Now i can install VCS on my own and also do clustering on available systems.

Hi ..

I have done some programming stuff in PERL today.
Anand explained m a structure of VCS architecture
Then i started reading some stuff related to bundle agents...

The most important thing was i configured my outlook finally ...

M n sidd played carrom today .... timepass kiya ...
spend almost 2 hrs in a net meeting for tht configuration thing
are ha i got my permenent ID wid kupiii
so we planned to meet @ durga around 8 ... so i left office around 7.45

It was my first working day ... I came to know tht i will be working under VCS ( Veritas Cluster Server) team... It comes under DCMG group ... i.e Data Center Management Group
I got my enterprise ID, symppl ID etc.
I started reading docs abt VCS and learning PERL .. tht was new to me guyzz !!!
My buddy Anand is awesome guy ... He helps m alot ...
I am always troubling him wid diff diff issues .. thnkx anand ...
We had a meeting with our team like a brainstorming session ...
Then went home around 9 ...

The 1st day in Corporate world in my life ... The 1st day in Symantec Corporation
Awesome experience guyz. We had an Induction and lots of form filing things tht day ..
After we had a superb lunch n all.
Then they told us to contact our manager n then we can leave for a day.
But we had a meeting on the 1st day only ...
Saglyanshi chhan introduction zale ... then we went to our cubical ...
Evrything was set for us machine n all
Then finally we went home around 8.30
